Recently I met a lovely French lady named Dominique, and we were pleased to find that we both have Willowcrest houses. We traded blog addresses and when I went to look at her Willowcrest, I was totally blown away by her artistry and imagination. Talk about keeping your light under a bushel, because she never mentioned how creative she was and that she had her own Etsy shop.
Her Willowcrest is barely recognisable, transformed with so much wonderful Art Nouveau detailing. It's still a work in progress but her attention to detail as she completes little vignettes and displays is amazing. Her main blog is Petit cabinet de curiosites, but there is also a great slide show of the house when it was at an earlier stage on her other blog here - just click on the 'play' arrow on the image to see 24 pictures of the interior. I really love the balcony, and the stair case, and the sinuous wood detailing on doors and furniture.
Apologies that I haven't blogged in so long, but our house buying saga has dragged on and on. Meanwhile my Willowcrest and my other houses have been in storage for a year now :( But it is looking like we will finally get the keys next month so hopefully by July our stuff will come back out of storage and I can start setting up my new dollshouse room.

Home buying is always stressful, but you'll get this over with and put it behind you. I agree with you her house is spectacular.

Thank you for this post! We have more than the Willowcrest in common. You used, in your Fairfield, the same landscaped wallpaper that I have in my Garfield. And, I was very pleased to meet you... I hope that your moving saga is almost over and that you will be back at your blog - and your dollhouses - soon.
Kindly
Hi there, I'm just stopping by to say how delightful your blog is. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris
